The story of Mia’s Meals began during COVID-19 quarantine. I would spend most of my time in the kitchen until one day my family said to me “Ema (mom in Hebrew), everyone loves your food, why don’t you just meal prep to keep busy?” And that’s when it all began. I would post weekly meals on social media that I wished to prepare one day if I were to open a restaurant. It’s something that I’ve believed in and talked about with close friends and family for as long as I can remember.
The response was amazing. Who would have thought that during a pandemic when everything was shut down and everyone was home and health conscious, people would show me such support and love and express how they couldn’t wait for my next meal post to be publicized?!
I believe that less is more, and with all of the consideration, support, and hard work that has been dedicated to this new project, I am here today, opening up Mia’s Meals - Falafel Bar. I could not be more proud and excited to take on this new journey and live my passion every day, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Mia’s Meals.
